Military Officers Association of America (MOAA)
MOAA is the United States' largest veterans organization for active duty, National Guard, Reserve, former, and retired military officers and their surviving spouses. MOAA is a full-service association with two magazines, benefits information, an officer placement service, and lobbying. The association promotes a strong national defense by lobbying for equitable benefits for those who serve and have served their country in military, including health care, pay, allowances, and family issues. You do not have to be retired to join MOAA. All active duty, retired, National Guard, Reserve, former commissioned officers, and warrant officers of the uniformed services - Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration - are eligible for membership.
Military, Veteran and Family Assistance Foundation (MVFA)
The (MVFA) is a non-profit organization that provides services and resources beyond the budgetary and mission capabilities of the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs and other National, State and Local veterans’ agencies. MVFA serves the military, veterans and families affected by war and acts of terrorism by providing funding, in-kind referrals and other resources towards the treatment of the physical, social, emotional, spiritual and economic needs of soldiers, veterans and their families through the use of integrative and alternative health care combined in a holistic, family-based approach.
MVFA Phoenix Project
The Phoenix Project provides a free retreat for military couples to repair the relationship that has been wounded as a result of deployment.
Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit that provides emergency support and morale to our military troops, the families they leave behind during deployment and wounded warriors when they return home. With 26 chapters nationwide, they support our nation's troops by allowing military personnel to focus on the demands of their duties abroad.
