For this column, we thought we’d look at the New Year – how many of your New Years’ Resolutions had something to do with improving fitness or health? Did you see “National Wear Red Day” on February 2nd? Many women think that the #1 cause of death for women is Breast Cancer or accidents. However, the #1 killer of women in America is Heart Disease. In fact, Heart Disease kills more women every year than all cancers combined. A woman is 4-6 times more likely to die of a heart attack than breast cancer. Many health care organizations are trying to spread this word, and help Americans focus on combating this. So, what can you do to improve your Heart Health?
