Barbara Barrett, Former U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Finland. An international business and aviation attorney, Ambassador Barrett was the first woman to serve as chair of the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy, the first woman to serve as Deputy Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration and the first civilian woman to land an F18 Hornet on an aircraft carrier. Immediately prior to her service as Ambassador, she was President and CEO of Triple Creek Guest Ranch in Darby, Montana. Ms. Barrett served on the corporate boards of Raytheon and Exponent, Inc., and was a trustee of the Aerospace Corporation, Mayo Clinic and Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Rear Admiral Marsha 'Marty' Evans (US Navy, retired), Former President and CEO of the Girl Scouts (USA) and the American Red Cross. Admiral Evans has combined both military service and leadership of the nation’s premiere non-profit organizations. During her nearly 30 year naval career, Admiral Evans was a White House Fellows and gained a reputation for forging new ground for women in the military. She was the first woman to command a U.S. naval station (Treasure Island in the San Francisco Bay) and at the time of her military service, Admiral Evans was the highest ranking woman in the Navy, retiring in 1998 as one of the few women in U.S. Armed Forces to reach Rear Admiral rank. Today Admiral Evans serves on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation, the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), Office Depot, Weight Watchers International, the North Highland Company and Huntsman Corporation.
Brigadier General Evelyn 'Pat' Foote (US Army, retired), the past President of the Alliance for National Defense (AND) and now serves on the Board of Directors for the AND and Colmek Systems Engineering based in Salt Lake City. General Foote remains an active spokesperson for the Army and other organizations concerning the role of women in the military services.
Esther B. Campbell Gates, Former Federal Executive (25 years Department of Defense, 5 years United States Postal Service), Wife of Brigadier General Mahlon E. Gates. In 1967, her son, Specialist Keith Campbell, gave his life in service to this nation in Vietnam. In 2006, the Fort Sam Houston Library was dedicated in his name.
Brigadier General Allison Hickey (US Air Force, retired), among the first female graduates of the United States Air Force Academy, the first female KC-135 pilot at Grand Forks AFB, N.D and among the first female academy graduates to earn general officer rank. General Hickey completed a 27 year military career as Director, Future Total Force Directorate (Total Force Integration), Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans and Programs, Headquarters U.S. Air Force. General Hickey is presently an executive in Accenture's National Security Practice, Public Service Operating Group and serves as an advisor on the Defense Science Board.
Lieutenant General Claudia Kennedy (US Army, retired) , the first woman to achieve the rank of three-star general in the United States Army. General Kennedy served as the senior intelligence officer for U.S. Forces Command, Deputy Commanding General for the Army Intelligence Center and School and completed her Army career as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence. She serves on the board of directors of the non-profit Population Action International and the advisory board of Opportunity International, one of the world's largest microfinance organizations.
Diane Morales, Former Undersecretary of Logistics and Material Readiness, has more than 20 years of experience in business and defense matters. Ms. Morales served as president of DMS, a management services firm that focuses on defense and commercial logistics. Her previous government positions included serving as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Logistics; as a Board Member of the Civil Aeronautics Board; and as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy at the Department of Interior.
Major General Irene Trowell-Harris (US Air Force, retired), Director of the Center for Women Veterans, has the distinction of being the first female African-American general in the National Guard, as well as the first Air National Guard nurse to command a medical clinic. General Trowell-Harris served as a military representative to DACOWITS and through her work with the Center for Women Veterans, continues to draw focus to the needs of military women and veterans.
Brigadier General Wilma Vaught (US Air Force, retired), one of the most highly decorated military women in United States history, is the President of the Women in Military Service Memorial Foundation board of directors. General Vaught spearheaded the campaign that raised $22 million for the memorial which stands at the main gateway to Arlington National Cemetery . The Women's Memorial stands as a place where the American people and visitors from around the world can learn of the courage and bravery of tens of thousands of American women and to honor the past, present, and future of women in the military.
Dr. Judith Youngman, Professor of Political Science at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Former chair of DACOWITS, First American member of the Development Committee of the Business-Industry Advisory Council to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, Globalization, Military Manpower Policy and Civil-Military Relations Expert.
